Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answer: it depends. Interior house painting usually runs $2–$6 per square foot, exteriors $1.50–$4. Commercial jobs tend to fall between $1–$5 per square foot because we’re often working bigger spaces and weird hours. The only way to know for sure is to have us come out and look – quotes are always free and there’s zero pressure
A typical 3-bed house takes us 3–7 days start to finish. Bigger homes or ones that need a lot of repair work can push a week or two. Commercial jobs vary wildly – a small office suite might be a long weekend, a warehouse could be 3–4 weeks. We work around your schedule and try to get you back to normal life as fast as humanly possible
Just clear the decks a little – move small stuff away from the walls, take pictures off if you can. We’ll move and cover furniture, tape everything off, and protect your floors. Basically, you don’t have to stress about prep – that’s on us.
We’re big fans of Benjamin Moore, Sherwin-Williams, and PPG – premium stuff that actually lasts. Inside homes we lean toward low- or zero-VOC so your place doesn’t smell like a paint factory for a week. For offices and retail, we use tougher, scrubbable paints that can handle traffic and frequent cleaning.
Our fees are tailored to each project based on scope, complexity, and services required. We offer both percentage-based and fixed-fee arrangements. Contact us for a detailed proposal specific to your project.
Rule of thumb: interiors every 5–7 years (sooner if you’ve got kids or dogs), exteriors every 7–10 depending on the sun and weather where you are. If the color’s looking tired or you’re starting to see chalking/peeling, it’s time.
We fix everything. Scraping, patching, caulking, priming – whatever the walls need. Painting over bad prep is how you get peeling in six months. We don’t cut those corners.
